Coating Costs
Before You Commit.

Most economical coating system available, this will require maintenance, have longer cure times, will off gas during and after installation. Not recommended for outdoor use. Life expectancy is rather low and all over the place since there are so many types of epoxy. You could expect 1-3 years for the coating to but is susceptible to hot tire pick up and fading will occur almost immediately.

Entry-level polyaspartic coating with 70-80% solids content. Higher solvent content allows for increased spread rates. Life expectancy 1-3 years with maintenance.

Mid-grade polyaspartic coating with 81-90% solids content. Balanced performance with moderate solvent content. Light to moderate off gas. Not UV stable. Most companies will choose this coating for price competitiveness, coverage rates increase reducing price per sq ft. Life expectancy 3-5 years with low maintenance.

Premium polyaspartic coating with 91-100% solids content. No V.O.C's. Only a handful of coating experts offer this type of coating, most manufacture's build in solvent during the formulation process, so many contractors don't have a choice but to use a lessor grade. 91-100% solids life expectancy is 15 years or more with little to no maintenance required.

Heat-reflective coating designed for pool decks and outdoor surfaces. Stays cool underfoot in direct sunlight. Moderate fading overtime and traps mildew easily if not maintained. Life expectancy is in the range of 7-10 years with moderate upkeep.

Rubber granule coating providing a cushioned, slip-resistant surface. Ideal for playgrounds, gyms, and pool areas. The downside is fading, rubber granules are not UV stable and most often the base coat is an aromatic which compounds the fading problem. Life expectancy is 10 years or more but fading often occurs in just a couple years in highly UV exposed area's.

Quartz granules are a great alternative although quite expensive as compared to the other coatings available. Slip resistant and mold resistant if installed properly. Limited color variation so a more softer color palette is to be expected. life Expectancy 15 years or more with moderate maintenance.
